OCA-GLA is proud to offer a variety of internship opportunities to today’s youth. With the help of various sponsors, OCA-GLA provides numerous college students with the opportunity to work in the Asian American community. OCA-GLA is fortunate to be one of the few OCA chapters to offer internship opportunities to the community. Under the supervision of the OCA-GLA Civil Rights Fellow and the OCA-GLA Board of Directors, the interns work on a large variety of projects including APIA vote, hate crimes initiatives, OCA-GLA image awards and the OCA national convention. The internship program is one of the most rewarding programs that OCA-GLA offers and many of the interns return after their internship to intern again, volunteer at various events or even join the OCA-GLA Chapter Board.
